Start with your material and finished product
Begin with photographs of the material and the required finished chips. Record the largest piece, typical shape, moisture condition and whether the feed contains soil, metal or other contaminants. A wide feed opening alone does not establish what a machine can safely process. Confirm the proposed feeding method and treatment of contaminants with the equipment supplier.
Describe the next process: direct chip use, drying, further grinding or pellet production. The required output size affects the configuration. A crusher is one stage of the line; conveyors and downstream equipment must also match the planned throughput.
Compare four reference configurations
The figures below come from the supplied model sheets. They describe reference configurations, not guaranteed output for every type of wood.
| Model / series | Reference capacity | Main motor | Feed opening |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZW1200 | 10 TPH | 132 kW | 1250 × 600 mm |
| ZW1400-800 | 15–20 TPH | 185 kW | 1400 × 800 mm |
| ZW1600-800 | 20 TPH | 200 kW | 1600 × 800 mm |
| ZW1800-800 | 30–35 TPH | 280 kW | 1800 × 800 mm |
The requested 1200 series is shown using the supplied ZW1250-600 reference sheet (1250 × 600 mm). Confirm the exact nameplate and configuration before ordering. The 1600 project capacity does not replace the standard reference.
Fixed or mobile: choose from the site workflow
A fixed electric installation is a practical starting point when material is brought to a permanent yard or factory with a suitable power supply. Plan the foundation, loading access, feed storage, discharge pile and maintenance clearance together.
A mobile configuration is worth evaluating when equipment must work at several material sites. Check access, ground conditions, transport arrangements and the available power or fuel supply. Mobility alone does not determine output. Compare the proposed machine and complete operating process for your actual material.
What the 2025 Vietnam project tells a buyer
The company identifies its Vietnam project as a stationary ZW1600-800 installation from 2025 with a reported project capacity of 30 TPH. The supplied standard ZW1600-800 sheet lists 20 TPH. These are different reference contexts; do not apply the project figure to every standard machine.
The public case does not include a detailed capacity test report, measured material moisture or a complete installed configuration. Ask for the conditions supporting a proposed capacity when discussing a similar project. The delivery photograph documents equipment handling; it is not a throughput measurement.
Prepare a useful equipment inquiry
- Material photos and a short feeding video, including the largest typical pieces.
- Target hourly throughput and expected operating hours per day.
- Required output size and intended use of the chips.
- Measured moisture, if available, and any known contaminants.
- Installation country, available electrical supply and a simple site layout.
- Requirements for feeding, conveying, dust control, installation and training.
These details allow a proposal to define its scope rather than relying on a model number alone. Prices are provided after the project configuration is discussed.
Capacity checks before accepting a proposal
For a meaningful acceptance check, record the tested material, moisture, output specification, feeding arrangement, run duration and measured mass. Distinguish short peak output from sustained production. Confirm which conveyors and auxiliary equipment are included in the offered configuration, and compare electricity requirements with the site supply.
When a condition is not yet known, identify it explicitly in the proposal and agree how it will be checked. Do not assume that the largest model or highest catalogue capacity is automatically the best choice.
