The electric wood hammer mill processes prepared wood pieces and chips into uniform wood powder for pellet production and other biomass applications. Applicable models accept material commonly around 20–80 mm, with selected feedstock up to approximately 100 mm, and produce 8–12 mm material at 1–20 TPH.

Material is fed into the machine through the selected feeding system. The processing unit reduces or conditions the material, and the finished product is discharged to the next step. The actual rotor, screen, conveying and power arrangement depends on the selected model.
The hammer mill normally follows primary chipping and prepares material for pelletizing. Feed that is too large, wet or inconsistent reduces stable output, so the selected screen, motor and conveying arrangement are based on the actual material. Dust collection and safe material transfer should be planned with the grinder rather than added later.
Confirm typical and maximum chip dimensions after primary crushing.
State the required 8–12 mm range or other downstream specification.
Include feeding, discharge, dust control and connection to the pellet process.
